People and goods come and go, redevelopment projects are underway, and Tokyo continues to change. Under those conditions, it has become difficult to find Tokyo’s true cultural core; where one can feel the essence of a particular area and its community’s energy and culture. Nihonbashi has always been a place where culture and ideas are exchanged–dating back to its days as the starting point for the five routes of the Edo period. We are committed to laying roots here and hope to help contribute to the vibrance and diversity of the town.

The 2nd to 4th floors are HOTEL K5, and the 1st floor houses Switch Coffee, caveman, Wine bar, and Ao. The Brooklyn Brewery brings a beer hall called B to the first basement floor.
With the belief that scale need not be proportional to appeal, we set out to create a spot in Nihonbashi-Kabutocho that, while small in stature, is a hub that attracts people from all over the world. This one spot is an inspiration to create new spots around it, which will become connected, forming lines, and then planes, that will revitalize the entire area.

DANCE
One of the good things in life is encountering a heart pounding moment before your eyes and the little glimmer that is discovered while simply living in it. At CAFE DANCE, we offer not only food and beverage service, but also those exciting moments in the casual passing of daily life. The café’s menu features homemade waffles for breakfast and brunch, and natural wines and tapas for all-day dining in the evening.

AKAI BAR
A red bar owned by the fictional character “Akai-san. The bar serves standard cocktails with a focus on Japanese whiskey and gin. Enjoy a blissful drink in a space surrounded by items curated by Mr. Akai, a rare collector who has traveled the world.
Where local cultures around Japan intersect.
A multi-facility complex involving the local community within a 7-minute walk from K5, centered around Horidome Children's Park and encompassing multiple points within a 300m radius. SOIL Nihonbashi 1st - facing the park is PARKLET, a cafe and bakery. 2nd - diagonally across from Commissary is timsum, offering shumai made with Setoda lemons and serving wine and craft beer in a standing-bar style. 3rd - next to Coredo Nihonbashi is Overview Coffee stand. Above or adjacent to each dining establishment, there's Soil Work, a co-operative office where down-to-earth individuals gather. Currently, there are plans for the construction of a hotel building. We aim to establish deep roots and contribute to creating a city where the mention of Nihonbashi brings to mind the faces of various people.

Soil work
Soil work is a cooperative office for those who want to build a better society — not only through economic growth, but by growing cultural and natural capital alongside it. It takes its name from the idea of tsuchishigoto: tending the soil, today, for what comes next. Beyond central Tokyo hubs like Nihonbashi, Soil work extends into the local and nature-based sites its members are rooted in — coast, mountain, river. From there, it opens a two-way exchange of people and ideas: from the city outward to the local and the natural, and from one local place to another.

slo
slo is a little bit of the neighbourhood's living room, opened out to the street. People come to read, to work, to eat a takeaway meal from the restaurant — each in their own way, each at their own pace. It works like a living room, and yet now and then it becomes something more: a place where a new face or a new idea turns up. slo was never built around one fixed role. Its meaning shifts slightly with whoever walks through the door, and whatever time of day it is. It's exactly these small shifts, repeated quietly over time, that shape the culture and the scenery particular to this neighbourhood.

PARKLET
Parklet is a place for the public, a small ‘park’ where bread is baked and served. The space is part-bakery and part-extension of the Horidome Children’s Park just outside. Naturally leavened breads along with breakfast, lunch, and evening bites are all prepared with a focus on quality ingredients. A variety of daytime and evening drinks are available, too. A visit to Parklet on any given day reveals the colors of the season, tastes of the locale, and energy of the community.

timsum
The shop pecializes in dim sum, with a focus on dishes such as shumai using lemons from Setoda and Utsu-mi sea breeze pork from Yokoshima. The shop follows a counter-style service for Chinese steamed dishes. You can enjoy selected wines chosen by the sommelier and manager either by drinking them in the shop or purchasing bottles. The kitchen, where steam rises from stacked steaming baskets, is located in the back of the store. Different seating options, including counter seats, sofa seats, standing seats, and pet-friendly terrace seats, allow customers to enjoy the experience in various styles.

Hotel
A hotel adorned with greenery born at the street corner just beyond Horidome Children's Park, accessible through PARKLET. Nestled right next to the park, this hotel aims to provide a place where guests can interact with soil and greenery in the rooftop Edible Garden, fostering a sense of nature within the city. The 1st floor incorporates an 「Pizza Tane」 establishment, contributing to the neighborhood's ambiance and serving as a leisure spot at the street corner, following the concept established by PARKLET."
